An opportunity assessment
A comparison of candidate workflows using business value, task frequency, data readiness and implementation effort. Each opportunity names a user, a process owner and evidence still needed before an investment decision.
01 / GRNTSOFTWARE SERVICES
Choose a business problem worth solving, understand what implementation will require and give your team a practical decision to make next.
Discuss this service01 / A GOOD FIT
Turn a broad ambition into a focused AI roadmap. We assess your workflows, data and technical constraints to identify where AI can make a meaningful difference.
02 / WHAT YOU RECEIVE
A comparison of candidate workflows using business value, task frequency, data readiness and implementation effort. Each opportunity names a user, a process owner and evidence still needed before an investment decision.
A map of the information and tools a pilot would need. We identify source owners, permission boundaries, update requirements and integration dependencies so that the roadmap reflects the systems your team can actually use.
A written scope covering users, inputs, expected outputs, exclusions and a first evaluation set. The brief makes human review and exception handling explicit and separates a prototype from the work needed for production.
A sequence of next steps with dependencies, responsibilities and decision points. We identify what would justify proceeding, changing direction or stopping, including an approach to estimating delivery effort and ongoing operating costs.
AN ILLUSTRATIVE SCENARIO
An account team is considering a proposal assistant, a document search tool and automated request routing. We would compare actual examples, the effort spent on each task and the availability of approved source material before selecting a pilot.
A useful decision might be to test proposal drafting with one approved product collection, while leaving pricing and final approval with the account owner.
A scoping example. The final design depends on your systems and requirements.03 / HOW WE WORK
Walk through real tasks with the people doing them. Record current effort, handoffs, recurring failures and what a useful improvement would look like.
Compare AI assistance, retrieval and conventional automation against the same problem. Check the available information and the consequences of an incorrect output.
Agree on a focused use case, representative examples and a reviewer. Set acceptance criteria before selecting a model or starting implementation.
Review the proposed scope with your team, surface unresolved dependencies and agree who owns the pilot and its evaluation. Development can be scoped as a separate next phase.
04 / BEFORE WE BEGIN
You need enough shared understanding to choose a useful first test. If the workflow, data owner and success criteria are already clear, a focused scoping exercise may be sufficient. We size the advisory work around the decisions your team still needs to make.
The scope depends on the number of workflows, stakeholder sessions, systems and data sources to assess. After an initial conversation, we agree the deliverables, assumptions and fee before work begins. Implementation and model operating costs are scoped separately.
We agree a schedule after understanding the decisions involved and the availability of your team and source material. A review of one workflow has a different scope from a roadmap spanning several departments. We identify dependencies before committing to a delivery date.
Yes. We also provide custom AI development and workflow automation. A strategy engagement can lead to a separately scoped prototype, integration or production phase, with explicit acceptance criteria and responsibilities for each stage.
